Heritage Happenings...the first in 2016!

Just because an old year has come and gone doesn't mean the weary quilter takes a rest...no, not us!  With needle and thread in hand, we toil through the night!  Check out what the members of Heritage Quilt Guild have been up to...

A sweet stitchery ~which was part of the FREE BOW Blog Hops in December!
 A lovely zippered pouch...
Just Judy, new to wool, was dancing around the hall with this sweet pillow!  Dang cute!
And a close-up!  Yup...Just Judy is smitten with wool!  Plus Just Judy (don't you love her 'handle') was wondering how to leave comments on my blog...as well as others'...well, in two seconds, Judy had her iPad out and we walked her through signing up for a Google account...hence the name "JUST JUDY"(...Heritage Judy was taken!) haha  So if you hear from 'JUST JUDY' make sure you tell her you know who she REALLY is!! Go ahead... and mess with her!  :o)))
A gorgeous Charity quilt ready for some lucky recipient!
 The cutest baby quilt...
With the softest minkie on the back....beautifully quilted too!

Jane finished off her Winding Way quilt and it is DDG!!  (Drop dead gorgeous!)

Jane did a beautiful job quilting her masterpiece too!

This is another charity quilt...beautifully quilted by Jane!
Lovely feathers...hope you can see them!
Glynis finished her 'Quilts by Cheri' and it is gorgeous!

 Check out Glynis' quilting...

Lots of close-ups here because this one is definitely on my TO DO LIST!  Love it!  The nice thing about this wee quilt is that it can remain out on a table ALL Winter...and doesn't get put away with the rest of the Christmas themed quilts!
Don't you love Winter?!...especially when you have a nice, warm sewing room!

Have a super Saturday and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. Wonderful quilts and I like how she did the baby quilt, I had that fabric and she really did a nice job with the layout.

  2. Just wanted to point out that "the lovely pouch" was made by Amy Ellis of Amy's creative side.com and was part of an assortment of quilting goodies that I won on her blog.
